What is Spittoon?
We are a grassroots arts collective focused on empowering artists at the community level. While poetry open mics tend to be our bread-and-butter, we’ve been known to host events of all kinds, including: poetry slams, book clubs, workshops, fiction nights, indie publishing events, spit-tunes (a performance of collaborations between poets and musicians), and more.
